Backlink Process

Hi Guys,

I've got some potentially good websites to get a one way links from, i.e blogs & Forums.

To get these backlinks do I simply post comments with my URL in it, or should I use Anchor Text?

Also, do the sites linking back to me need to be relevant to my sites content?

    I post good comments on blogs and I don't put my url in the comment section. If you put your url in the place provided for a url, it will show up as a link back to your site. If you put the url in the comment section the moderator or blog owner may decide to remove it and you have lost your link and hence the work of setting up the link.
