I got a copy of this myself, they just added 5 new training videos in the bonus package to teach people how to set up quick squeeze page on squidoo, googlesite, how to use joomla etc. It collects traffic data from google, and you can choose to have the data locally (U.S.) or all over the web (means from all google sites) or you can specify your country. They give you a more detailed guideline as to which keyword to go in the product, not just green or red light in their demo video

The SoC parameter is from an equation consiting of inanchor, intitle, and inurl. It is a good starting point but you have to realise that you are leaving a lot of keywords on the table that you can easily rank for.

If you know anything about SEO you will already by using your keyword in the pages title, url, description, h1, backlink anchor text etc. This negates any advantage a site can get on you in this department. It is obviously better if the competition doesn't have these factors but it is so easy for you to match it should not be a deciding factor.

You need to look at the PR of the top 10 links. The more 0's the better. You need to look for the number of backlinks to the page and the backlinks to the domain. You want to be able to match these numbers. If you find one with a large number of links then do a backlink analysis to see what anchor text is being used. They could be irrelevant links that won't have too much effect on the value of the page. PR also helps to determine the quality of the links. 1000's of backlinks and a very low PR means the links are useless spam more than likely.

So yeah, I like the top 10 results to have pages with PR0 to 3, majority with < 100 links to the page, lacking basic on-site SEO. I know I can beat these factors so I know I can get in the top 10.

Traffic Travis and Market Samurai are 2 tools that do all of this very easily.

I am using both MNF and market samurai. I think the main advantage of MNF is SOC, I use it as starting point in my keyword research, then I use market samurai for all keywords having green SOC, and look at the first page of google result analysis, more internal pages better. If there is PR5 page ranking in first page I discard that keyword. I some time also take consideration of OCI value.

The SOC is 90% correct, check the MOB, which will give you the average backlinks you need to get to be above the backlinks on the top 10, this does not mean top spot though. Having the domain name is a must with the keyword within it.
