Traffic Tips

Hi Warriors,

I want to contribute to the WF and give some help as it has given me a lot. It also helped me become successful. I currently do CPA marketing. I don't make huge bucks, but its a start.

In the past few weeks I have seen an influx of newbies join the forum and I think this would help them as much as it would have helped me back then.Traffic is a very huge aspect of getting visitors and making money. I have sat down and wrote this and hope it helps. I listed free and paid ways to get traffic. Feel free to ad more info.

Traffic HELP:

Search enginge optimization or SEO is a way to get ranked higher in search engines and increase traffic.There are two ways you can get traffic to your site . Free and paid. When I first started I used to use the free traffic methods, but now I either use paid traffic methods or outsource. Even sometimes when I'm low on money because I paid for my college tution or something I would just go back to using the free methods. There is only one problem with the free traffic methods. They are time consuming. When you have money you can bascially have your traffic on autopilot. Using the paid traffic methods allows you to have more time to expand your business. If you start and your low on money you can you can use the free traffic methods and switch to the paid ones when you make some sales.

1. The first and my favorite is being active on Forums and use a Forum Signature including a link to your blog or sales page if they allow it. Some sites don't allow you to use links and if you do they will ban you so check the rules first.By being active I don't mean go around and spam every forum on your niche. I mean find a good forum that has some potential buyers and actually provide real help. There are many forums out there all you have to do is a google research. If you have no idea about the topic thats not a problem go do a little research and find the answer. Usually if your adding value to the forum more members will be attracted to your link because of all the knowlege your sharing and because they see your link a lot so they think you must know what your doing. Also the nice thing about this method is it can make you money on autopilot.So even if you decide to leave the forum you will still be getting traffic because of your knowlegable posts. Another really great thing is that the traffic is targeted so you will get people who are interested in what your promoting.

2- One of the hottest things right know that can bring you tons of traffic and sales is Twitter. Its a goldmine. You make a twitter account, add your site, and like you did in forums add valuable content by answering questions,creating tweets, and tweeting links to helpful posts on your blog.

3- Blog commenting its not a new thing, but it gets you a lot of targeted traffic. You bascially feed of the blogger's blog. He puts in all the effort you reap the rewards. Add as much value as possible. Most of the time if its valuable it would have to atleast be a paragrah. If you could create a youtube video demonstrating,explaining or saying valuable things about that niche will get you more views.

4- Socail bookmarking is pretty much the fastest way to get indexed by search engines like google yahoo, etc... It also raises your rank higher on search engines which in return gets you more traffic and more visitors which increases the chance of you making sales. Like most of the free methods this is time consuming , but that will change when you make some money because you can pay for a socail bookmarking services. You can do a search on google for socail bookarking sites and you will see a ton of sites, but here are a few that I think are the best and mostly used:

5- Making a list is a great way to get real buyers. You make a little opt- in on the side of the page thats basically offering something for free or off value to the person in exchange for something as little as there name and email address or even there email address alone. You send them the free information or tips or whatever the deal was. In each email you can say the product that helped me was "this" and you keep going. Don't make it look bold and stand out. You want to show that your wanting to help and not just trying to make a sale. When you appeal to the persons feelings they are more likley to buy in.

6- This is a great method because this site is currently rated 302 and Google loves it. What you have to do is build a Squidoo Lense and put a link to your site on it. Squidoo is a community that lets people create pages called lenses for things that they are interested in. So add unique content that makes people wanna click on your website link so they can go to your website. You can also do this for hubpages and blogger.

7- An awesome,effective, fun, and easy way to generate traffic when you check your yahoo email is to go and check the Yahoo! Answers. See if there is anything that is related to your niche. Answer the question. Many people just come and basically spam and its obvious. Answer the question and then in the box under it that says "What's your source?" add your site. There are so many questions that i have asked on google and Yahoo! Answers where the first results. Its like the forums they will keep generating you traffic forever.

8- Now to the paid traffic methods. Ill start out with PPC. This is pay per click advertising. These are ads placed on search engine result pages.An example are ads that come up on the right side of google when you search something. I have seen many people say this is expensive and it is, but there are a few methods that are inexpensive.If you do the right keyword research and find keywords with low competion and a good search voulme and pick a good niche then your good. If you really wanna do PPC I recommend buying an ebook on it or buying coaching.

An example of an inexpensive PPC ad would be the poll method.You make a landing page and write two movie reviews then at the end you can ask a question like "Which was better A or B? Answer the question for your chance to win a $500 Walmart Gift Card." You put a picture of both movies and then hyperlink each picture so even if they click A or B they will go to the offer. They enter there email and you make money. For a little research you can find some keywords for as low as .05 cents for movie A or B. For the ppc ad you would say something like " Which Moive was Better A or B?" You get the point. There are a lot of twisits just use your imagination. Most people use Google Adwords,but there is also yahoo and msn advertising.

9- One of the cheapest methods is PPV or CPV. This is an awesome method if you know the right way to use it. Like adwords you can make a lot of money from it or you can loose a lot. I have seen many people us this to target urls and cash in. Like adwords it will require some testing. If your new to this and want to invest I recommend finding an ebook on using it.

Lastly th most question I see by newbies is "Whats fastest way to make money online?".

I believe there is such a way and thats using your skills.There are only two requirements build your reputation and deliver. There is never too much competition. If you have a good service people will pay. Here are a few things that you can do and make some quick big bucks:

Graphic Design
Copywriting

One last thing I wanna add is that like many people I wanted to quiet in the past as you can see in my old threads. I realized that its pretty stupid because the only person I'm gonna hurt is myself. For all newbies and everyone who hasn't made any money yet. Be patient and DO IT. Take what you learn from here and use it. The forum is a GOLD MINE
