Changing title to a ranked page

Hello everyone. I have one of the pages to my wordpress site ranked on the first page for its keyword. I am finally getting some clicks and such, but my traffic isn't converting at all.

I changed a little bit of the content on the page and the title, making sure to keep the same frequency of the keyword that got me to page one in the first place. Will making these changes affect its position in the SERPS at all?

I'd like to know before I make the changes final and update the post. I just think that making these subtle changes to the TITLE and content will convert the traffic a little bit better.

Thanks to anyone that can answer this question,

If you have many links pointing to your site with the keyword in the anchor text, probably not. If you don't however, and much of you ranking is coming from your on-site optimization (if you're not in a very competitive niche), then it may change your rankings.

      Ok.
      Thanks for responding. I

I didn't change any of the keyword placement in the content or the title. They both have the same amount of keywords and in the same places. I just changed a few words in the title, and a few words throughout the blog post.

I just didn't know if Google would change my ranking when it sees that the blog post now has a new title.
