I have many websites all in the same industry but for different products and I need all the pages that are about particular services to have a list of areas we operate which is the whole of the UK.

I have a list of areas of the UK but I am wondering whats the best thing to do with it.

Should I add the list as I have it to every page I need to add it to on each website effectivly meaning I ma going to have lists of about 60 areas from the UK that is also on another 50 pages, duplicate content??

I did read a wso on duplicate content which bascially summed up that there wasnt any penalties and if done correctly you could use the same piece of content on in many different ways (different titles and such) but I am not sure if this is the right thing to do.

Is it ok to have the same list of 60 areas on every page of about 10 websites that need to to be on, we are talking about 50 pages with exactly the same content. We operate across the UK so it is feasible to have every area as thats where we operate, just wondering if I should give it a little shake up before adding them everywhere?

Has anyone else come across this kind of thing before?

First off: There is no duplicate content penalty, so you don't have to worry about that. (as your WSO also stated)

The only important question is: Is this list of areas important/relevant/useful to the visitors of each of those websites?
If the answer is yes, then go ahead and include the list on every page.
If the answer is no, then don't bother.

I think in this case you can really just concentrate on the users and forget about the search engines.
