I have heard that they want you to have a domain that is at least 6 months old. Is that truth??

That was not my experience. Unless they have changed something that would not be the case. I signed up about 1o months ago with a brand new domain.

Unless the rules have changed, I don't think so. I put up a new domain - 2 pages deep - and had Adsense on it within 72 hours.

You don't even need a domain to get an account with them. I have seen lots of people, myself included, that got their account by setting up a blog with Blogger.com.

That is not true.. I had my Adsense account by opening a Blogger.com blog, although I don't have my own domain back then..

They've given this as a rejection reason to some people from what I've heard. However, I've heard about a lot more people being approved very quickly with brand new domains or Blogger blogs.
