So, I signed up for the Enterprise version of Popshops just over a month and a half ago.
I built a few websites using wordpress and their plugin. I was hoping its SEO features would help eliminate alot of the problems faced by people using datafeeds for affiliate marketing.
Its features include "word replacement" (helps you replace common review words with other alternatives so your reviews are unique)
"seo friendly php" (does seo friendly php redirects for affiliate link..I assume this lessens your external links from each page making it seo friendly)
Now, This was my first foray into affiliate marketing with CJ. I made my websites look really good, put some effort into the design and did my best to make it look like an authentic website and not just some BANS type site.
A month of backlinking later...My websites are still not on page 1 even though I've bought exact keyword domains and the niches are less competetive.
I know..I will have a better idea of how this is going after a few months..but I'd love to hear opinions from fellow warriors on their experience with Popshops.
What is your approach to BANS type sites? DO you go all out and create tons of pages while sacrificing the quality factor or do you make it more hand built and authentic looking.
