Throwing in the Towel on a Site

I have a site that's been online for about two years. A small site with decent content that's running AdSense ads. It's indexed in search engines and gets a small amount of traffic. Also, I've gotten visitors from other sources, such as my blog and Twitter.

I think it's time to throw in the towel on it.

Lifetime AdSense earnings: $0

The thing is, though, that, according to Google AdSense, this site has no page impressions. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

Ever.

I could perhaps understand if there were no clicks, but no impressions?

When I look at the site, ads are displaying. I have checked and rechecked the ad code, and the correct code is being used, the correct publisher ID, channel ID, etc. are all in place.

The domain name hasn't been banned while I've owned it and, so far as I can tell, it hadn't been used before I registered it. I have other sites on the same IP address and they are fine.

Also frustrating is that, according to my research, this is a high-paying AdSense niche.

So, I'm thinking maybe it's just time to throw in the towel on this site. Take it down, move the content to a relevant domain that is successfully generating AdSense impressions and 301 redirect it this site's domain to the other site.

I'm not sure what else to do at this point.
