Canonical domain (www. vs. non-www.)

I'm using a blog to help build internal linking for my website. For the keyword I'm not sure if it makes a difference if I use www or don't use www when pointing to the main site. Can anyone comment on this?

Also, if it does make a difference how do I fix this in cpanel back-end?

Yes, it makes a difference. Decide which one you want and be consistent when you're creating links.

You should create a 301 redirect from either www to non-www or the other way round, depending on which is preferred.
