There is none. do seo manual thats the best tool. Recently I purchased IBP for $1200, they are claiming top 10 guarantee in 3 months otherwise moneyback. nothing will happened. I asked for money they are refusing now. Don't purchase any software for SEO. do it manually.

I think some Pluggins with Firefox works better than this IBP or WebCeo

The top priced package that I have seen IBP sell for is less than half og what you have quoted so I am a little confused. I have been using IBP for over a year now and it has always helped me get to where I beeded to be. That being said, I will say that ther eis much more to it than buying some software and there is no substitute for good clear thinking.

Totally Agreed. As an new in SEO world i think it will be more helpful to do it manually as you can analyze the progress of your task. I'm sure Many SEO like me will go for manual process.

Google webmaster tools (GWT) - I think its the only SEO tool that you will every need. There are some free sites that can help you tweak your site. But if you want to rank well in google, why not use the tools that provided for you by google.

GWT tells you exactly how google sees your site - keyword ranking, number of indexed pages, anchor text, site map results, number of backlinks,,,,,, and a whole lot more.

There are lots of good software which helps with seo. It really depends on what area you want to focus on. There is keyword research, getting backlinks, analysing backlinks, analysing competitors onpage seo etc. As for the comment above. It's likely that if you bought some good software and you have used it to little or no effect its because you don't know what you are doing with it. None of this software is magic. You still have to know how to use them. They just save you lots of time.

What area of seo are you wanting software to help with?

I am a newbie in SEO and research has given me various free SEO tools but its all just for analyzing keywords, competitors and their backlinks but all link building should be done manually or white hat method should be used.

      Tim,

I agree with Andy. depending on what you specifically need to know, you may want/need to do some more research on the subject. A good book I would recommend is Search Engine Optimization - an hour a day by Jennifer Grappone and Gradiva Couzin - it's available on amazon. It even comes with a $25 google adwords voucher - well the 2nd edition does anyway.
      Best of luck!

I'm trying to look for a piece of software that will help me manage SEO campaigns on a variety of different websites. I'm not looking for something to do any optimisation work for me but would like to a better process around

    -managing keyphrases
-managing backlinks so I know how many links each anchor text has etc
-creation of keyphrase ranking reports/traffic analysis

The key here is it must be suitable for many different, separate websites

I agree here. I downloaded SEO PowerSuite a few weeks ago and love it! While a majority of the features are available though the free download, The feature that I think is the best is the client reporting feature. You can create professional looking reports in seconds with this feature and sent them to your clients. Adds instant credibility!

Not sure if this is what you mean, but it does cover some of your wants, I think: SEO Linkvine allows you to spin articles (with a decent quality built-in spinner) and offer them for other site owners to publish on their site, or you can have other people's articles published to your site. You can choose automatic or you can approve them first. Or request one to be written on a specific topic. It also keeps up with how many backlinks you have for each keyword and where each one ranks in Google , Yahoo and Bing (me likey!). It costs $67 a month. It's not spammy like SE Nuke and RankBuilder (which I also use carefully and sparingly). The two drawbacks are: ONE- the quality of other people's articles that were offered to me were not nearly the quality I submit (mainly because of poor spinning), so I don't mess with the Get Content feature. TWO- It can take some time to get a lot of backlinks, but this can also be a benefit, as building them too quickly can appear spammy and get you punished in search. All-in-all closer to a whitehat solution than RankBuilder or SE Nuke.

SEO software is a tough thing to explain, but overall you should be doing most of the work manually or outsourcing. Use things like article bot, social bot(or any alternative) to cut down on the manual labor, but with SEO there really is no free lunch.

Do SEO all work manually and don't use software, If you will use some the software will give you some results but these are temporary, so manual work more better as compare to software.

Hey and hi, i build adsense sites 1 per day then flip them later on depending on how much they earn, manually is best for new domains under 1 month old, after that i optimize my seo efforts with senuke and if you use video=traffic geyser $97pm expensive or contentbuzz $67pm or FREE tubemogul.

HOWEVER USING SENUKE YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING I SPEND $$$ ON SENUKE EXPERTS JUST TO GET THE HOW TO USE IT UNDER MY BELT, for old dopmains its simply the best imo! i use the $127pm option but it covers to much to mention if you can organize your daily tasks and keep up to date your set!

What are you guys using this software to build links to? For the most part I keep finding lots of mediocre software with fly by night ideas of how to build backlinks from every lousy blog under the sun. Most of the sites that get ranked well in my industry aren't using this software.

I tend to agree with the hard work people. I certainly need assistance from third parties regarding backlinks and other SEO help pretty badly but that's just because my time is being spent 110% in getting my site ready for a new relaunch that will better optimize the experience. My site does over 100K vistr per month but can be much higher if I had the help or time.

I worked at a company in an executive position and we were getting about 6 billion page views a year. We didn't use any software to do it. We basically had content people wanted, a good following of young fans who just posted links all the time because they liked the site, and a very tiny crew of completely dedicated programmers who used every thought they could to SEO the site internally with internal linking... cross references... you name it. I had a list of 25 things they did at the time to increase the rankings.

So yes, I'm curious to know what you guys are using this software for. If it's for the typical long page "buy this product now.. available for a limited time!!!" pages, that's different than trying to build up a community site or a site with long term utility.

First, I want to state that I first started doing SEO back in early 2006 and frankly, it is one of the major reasons for many of my successes online. Getting free, organic traffic from the search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing are like gold! Lots of traffic...lots of quality traffic (if you get the high rankings!).

Because of it (SE Nuke), I have focused a lot of my time over the years optimizing the SEO of my website. On-Page SEO is important, but without Off-Page SEO (i.e. getting others to link back to your website), it is virtually worthless.

My point is that SEO is important to me, yet it has been a struggle, too. To do SEO right, there are plenty of tasks to do such as writing articles, submitting links to websites, and link management. I did it manually for years with great results (but with great effort and expense, too).

SEO software is a difficult thing to explain, but generally you should do most of the work manually, or outsourcing. Use things like article bot, bot name to reduce manual labor, but with SEO there is really no free lunch.

SEO software doesn't really "do it for you"...

You need to know how SEO works and then you can use software to help speed the process up, such as submissions of articles / social bookmarking etc

If you don't know what you're doing with the software (whatever product it is) you'll be wasting your time

To me the best software that I use is a combination of The Best spinner + SENuke + Scrapebox. This is a truly lethal combination that usually results in me dominating whatever niche I am targeting within 2 -3 months.

I use the TBS to create a 70% unique article with multi-nested spintax. I then use that article in SENuke and blast it out usually achieving somewhere in the vicinity of 75- 80% indexing. I then take the indexed domains and scrapebox the heck out of them.

In this way I am creating a shield around my main domain and backlinking my web2.0 properties that then point to my money site.

    It really is that simple.

SEO is a pretty big subject with many different aspects to it, so I don't think there is one software that will do it all for you.

For keyword Research I find Market Samurai to be the best.
For article marketing I think that Ultra Spinnable Articles is amazing and together with SEOLinkVine works great.
SEnuke is probably the best link building automation tool available but it is not cheap.

Don't listen to those who say to do everything manually, no offense to anyone but if you say that then you probably don't have much experience ranking for high comp KWs or ranking multiple domains at once. It's impossible to do all manual SEO and get any crazy type of results (without killing yourself).

I use SENuke and absolutely love it. The best thing about it is that you can cross-promote your links very, very easily, and save all of your information for each of your sites very easily. With SENuke, in one hour I can create a spun article, distribute it to 30 sites, then take those urls and bookmark them all, ping them all, and take the RSS feeds from the articles and submit them to 20 feed directories. I can create a layered linking effect that is extremely powerful.

I've heard SE Nuke was good. No personal experience, though. One of the best ways to SEO is to start with a domain name that includes targeted keywords (i.e if keywords are make money, then use makemoney as the domain name. If the domain name is not available, try variations. like makemoneyonline dot com).

Save your money - you don't really need to buy SEO software. I've spent thousands on software which I have very rarely used, I use bits of it but rarely the whole application - especially true of the larger, more expensive SEO packages.
The software I use the most are free firefox plugins. There are few SEOMoz tools I use from time to time - but you're best getting in the habit of doing everything manually, I'd recommend that you only buy software if you specifically need it for a particular peject.

There is one specific piece of SEO software I really like at the moment for doing very specific things (mainly researching for super targeted niche sites) which I've recently reviewed on my blog, SEO Toolbox. Very good, and costs next to nothing in comparison with much heavier applications which take up a tonne of space & resources. Well worth the very small price.

    Cheers

This was 1 hour worth of work per day 6 days a week so it shows that doing it manually is the best way to go.

There's a lot of good software/tool like seoquake and seospyglass. However, do things manually otherwise you might be penalized by Google and deindexed your site.

hope you understand that if google had its algorithm set in this way then all your competitors would have been ruined by now -

you will need to understand the search engines in order to understand seo

Right now I'm using Keyword Winner as my SEO WordPress plugin, and it's definitely a great tool for revolutionized SEO purposes through keyword research and analysis. This is really worth for my SEO tactics to get the right keywords for my blog's title or content and this can be done manually, not automated. For automated SEO softwares, I think it's not worth until they are really proven to be legitimate.

The best for SEO for me is currently SENuke and UAW. The combination is just phenomenal. Then if you will add Linkvana and 3waylinks, front page rankings will just be a piece of cake.

There are lots of great SEO tools on the market and for the most part they all perform the same tasks.

I have used a number over the years and I like Web CEO the best. It's robust, provides me with all the information I need to do seo and it's very user friendly. Their database is kept up to date and customer support is responsive and friendly.

My best advice would be to try a few and see what feels like the best to you. Everyone's going to give you a different answer and that's ok because for the most part it's a matter of personal experience.

Never go for any software that promise you to be on #1 within few days or any sort of automatic link building software. Always work manually because if SE catch your website using software for creating backlinks or generating traffic, your website will be banned.

I think the problem is that some people think SEO software will be litearlly push a button and sit back and watch your rankings rise, SEO Software is basically just a time saver, it'll either do things like submissions that make life easier because lets be honest who wants to sit and spend their time signing up accounts and submitting content, or they'll deal with things like analysing competition and gaining link data and optimisation data, this is stuff that tools are really helpful for as they not only save time but they give you data that you either a) wouldn't know, or b) it would take ages to get.

SEO Powersuite is very good, I don't really use link assistant, but the other tools are great.

I have another vote for the makers of seo power suite. I bought the full version of their Rank Tracker and use it every day.

The thing is that you don't want to get lazy with seo and totally rely on automated software to do all the heavy lifting for you. IMO when google sees posts like "hey great post" they see right through it. You will get far more value from doing some actual manual link building or outsource it to the Phillippines. I have a worker from the Phillappines that works FULL TIME for me, 40 hrs a week for $80 US. She writes content, builds web 2 feeder sites and would do blog commenting if I asked her to.

The best thing to do is build yourself a good foundation of .edu backlinks first and move from there SLOWLY AND CONSISTENTLY over time...

If you're improving SEO for something niche, you should look into UBot. Given that the big tools don't hit all the smaller forums, etc, UBot allows you to auto-post to any forum you can think of (once you set it up), to comment on blogs, to create accounts wherever, etc.

But I agree that overall a suite is the best option.
