Hi and Thanks in Advance,

My problem:

I need to get more targeted adsense diplayed within my blog posts.

I have an authority blog that is maximized for say... improving self esteem. Now... I have a post that is about how to get a registered on a dating site. My adsense block within the post will show self esteem ads, not dating site ads which would be more relevant for that post.

My most popular entry pages are often on loosely related topics, therefore showing irrelevant ads to a viewer arriving for that specific post, because the specific post topic is only tangentally related to the overall blog theme.

Someone suggested section tageting:

Question:

How do I Section Target 1,000 exsisting posts?

I am using WP blog, thesis theme. Is it possible? Is this a big coding job? Can I set it up to bracket my posts.

Thanks,

Bill

I would consult with someone at DIYThemes.com. Bracketing posts with section targeting (i.e. <!-- google_ad_section_start -->) is doable; ironically, because Thesis is designed to be customizable, you may need to go through hooks to place the section targeting tokens. You can't just go to Appearance, Editor, then modify the php file for the post, as that may break Thesis functionality. I don't see it as a big coding job in the sense that once it has been done for the php responsible for displaying the post, it will be effective for all posts. Good luck and I hope it everything works out smoothly for you.
