inaccurate display url, adwords problem

Warrior i need your help as always. Here is my problem. I am trying to run a ppc campaign on adwords, everything is good but one. My ad gets disproved because of the "inaccurate display url". I am using a blogspot blog, which the url is too long.
Here is the url i am talking about;
mylegitimatepaidsurveys.blogspot.com

You know how your limited to a number of characters, sadly my last letter the "m" from ".com" is over the limit. So it shows like mylegitimatepaidsurveys.blogspot.co

Every time i enter it, of course it automatically rejects it. So how do i fix this, i mean its from their part not mine. Is there something very simple that i am probably missing?

I have a feeling i am missing a very simple thing that i haven't

    try www.blogspot.com as displayURL

    even www.blogspot.com/Surveys <-- something like that. I think it should work. The display URL doesnt need to be real, although it must match the main URL, in this case blogspot.com

    I know its not supposed to match the url, but i though if i just use blogspot.com or mysurvey.blogspot.com, it wouldn't be a match though. I will try it now to see if it works and post back here for other who may have the same problem. Thank you so much for advising.

    in theory blogspot.com should be all you need and as suggested you can add a sub domain ( shorter ) so legitimatepaidsurveys.blogspot.com would be fine

    if not you can apply for a exemption where they may shorten the url or allow for a longer one see you ad section for approval on those but you should be good with the above

    Satrap, I just had a look at that site and a heads up, keep a very close eye on your campaign / keys if you run that site, If i have it right it will start at Q 5 and very shortly after you fire it, the backside will drop out of it and you will get a poor rating for land page and your Q score will drop quicker than tigers pants during a night out.

    If that happens delete any key with a poor rating straight away, do not leave it as you will not fix it. and its not worth risking your account if so.

      I never new that, although i red on their guide that it dosnt have to match but i didnot knowthis way it would be possible. So i just used legitimatepaidsurveys.blogspot.com instead of mylegitimatepaidsurveys.blogspot.com, just enough to fee in . Thanks to both of you guys.

      Ok, you hit it on the nail. What am i missing here? I had the same problem with my primery blog. It was all good, untile last week, every ad i try to run, it starts with 5 and goes down to 1.
      So whats the problem in my landing page? Some people said its the affiliate links, but if thats the case then why i never had that problem befor, plus most people who do ppc specially affiliate marketers, have affiliate links on their landing pages.
      I am lost on this. Would you please tell me what you see on the blog that needs to be fixed, or in general why am i getting scores of 1 always.

    yes buddy there are many things wrong at a guess

    1, you have adsense on the page = not good to send ads to a page with adsense as it can be seen as arbitrage

    2. no content

    3. those survey sites would be seen as non prefered sites bu G or at least some

    the affiliate link itself is no really the problem, just low quality page with links with no other purpose to lead to another page / bridge page

    just error after error

    you need a lot of good content and one link / product only then if that works duplicate, but like that it is very hard to see what is causing the problem.

      Thanks for taking time to explain these. Wow i never new having adsense would be bad for ppc.

      Here is the deal since last night that i started the campaign. Since i fixed the url problem and my ad got accepted, there is no problem as far as what your saying about content and adsense. The ad is still running, with landing page being no problem. Score 5/10- 6/10 for most of the keywords.

      I know if it was gonna drop it would by now, cos usually it takes less than 20 min, but this is been 24 hours, plus i got 30 or so clicks which usually i don't get any, since it wont even run.

      But i am still confused, if adsense causes problem, then why my other ads for other blogs that have adsense have no problem? I hope i don't sound bad, I am not trying to bash or anything. I am genuinely asking and trying to learn it. I am just really confused, because i heard other warriors saying stuff like that too. One suggested that affiliate links are problem, but i see ads every day that on the landing page they have bunch of aff links.

      Am i missing something about this whole adwords thing or is it just different experiences and opinions. I know i am very new to this, so i want to make sure i don't screw something up before i even get started. Any help would be appreciated. thank you again.

    if you have it running that is great news for you, with the adsense that is your call what you do, i can only go from information i have gained over time and from what i know works, and to much adsense / ads in general may hinder your Q score.

    with the content same deal again if your happy with how its working then all is good, you must make your own calls.

    I am very surprised it is running, but the G works in many funny ways.

      To be honest i am surprised to, i am still thinking sooner or later it will stop running when they realize they have made a mistake. I mean some of my keywords have scores of even 8/10 which me being new to this, i have never gotten more than 6. So i don't know what's up. I will report back here if anything new comes up.
      Again i thank you for being helpful and explaining things to me. I am sure it will be helpful to many other newbies as well.
