I have looked around and learned a great deal already... but a few things i read i didnt like . Now to the point of this thread. Will i get negs from google for submitting all my articles at once to like the top 5 articles directories? I have writen about 15 and copyscape says there all about 95% unique. had a problem with a few but that was fixed.... anyway.... back to the point if i submit all my articles to all 5 directories will search engines freak? I understand that they wont all be credited but will i get frawned on for submitting them all at once? and how many is to many? i love writing and i really want to seo my brand new site. I have explored the forums and alot of mixed reviews can anyone give me a half straight answer? or some hints in the right direction?

Personally I would try to submit in batches of 2 or 3 articles a day although you shouldn't worry too much unless your site is new and you don't wish to get the Google dance or at worse the sandbox.

If your site is at least 30 days old you can begin building links with your articles. I'm sure that if you have looked into SEO at all you are well aware of the fact that you need to vary your anchor text.

If your site is in fact brand new, and you build links quickly Google will sandbox you. However, the sandbox isn't the end of the world. Google will let you out - Eventually...

You need to remember to vary your anchor text and you also should vary the type of links you get.

Google especially considers a variety of back links to be natural as apposed to getting a bunch of links from say article directories.

When I build links for my clients I mix it up a bit.

I vary my keyword anchor text and I rotate where I get the back links from.

I use all of the following sources for back link building:
    • Online Directory links
    • Blog commenting links
    • Article directory links
    • Article content links From Content Exchanges
    • Press release links
    • Web 2.0 Properties
    • Reciprocal link exchanges
    • Social Bookmarking
    • Video and Pod-casting
    • Software directory links
    • classified ad sites
    • forum signatures
During the first 30 days I promote the website by Pinging it and by book marking it with a couple quality book marks each time i add content.

During the first 30 days I ad new content to the website every 2 or three days and then do the bookmarking and pinging of that new content.

At the end of the first thirty days the I begin building links for the website as follows:

    1. Using the best Buyer Keyword Phrase I Submit the website to social book marking websites using Onlywire.com and socialmarking.com.
    2. I Ping the website using Ping-o-Matic!
    3. Then I create a www.Blogger.com Blog and link it to the website inside the first post on that blog, preferably towards the top of that first blog post. I then add new content to this blog every week linking back to my main site and to a sub page on my main site
    4. I then submit the RSS Feed of the Blogger.com blog I just created to FeedAgg.com as well as FeedBase.net
    5. Then I Ping the Blogger.com blog.
    6. I then write a Press Release on the website and submit to it to Free-Press-Release.com, I-Newswire.com, PressReleaseSpider.com, and PR-Log.org
    7. Then I write 2 unique articles about the business and submit it to Zimbio.com and and Squidoo.com I do this once a week. I then link each of these sites to my main website, to a sub page within my main website and to my Blogger.com blog and to each other so you end ip with a one way link circle between Blogger.com, Squidoo.com, Zimbio.com. Remember Not to set up reciprocal links between these web 2.0 properties
    8. I then create a short video and submit on YouTube.com, Revver.com, and RealPeopleRealStuff.com
    9. I then submit several classified advertisements to USFreeAds.com and Oodle.com
    10. Next I join a forum in my specific niche and add set up my profile on the forum I also set up my signature file at the same time and make one really well thought out post that is helpful and ads quality content to that forum.
    11. Next I create a Twitter account for the website and set it up to tweet my new content automatically on my main website. You can also set up a new Twitter account for each Web 2.0 property and set it up to tweet your new content automatically

Now if you are so inclined it's time to create a radio show on BlogTalkRadio.com.

I follow each of steps 1 - 10 on a weekly basis while expanding my Web 2.0 properties. I post on the Web 2.0 properties once per week.

Eventually you will need to either sub out this work or automate it.

If you follow the steps as I've outlined them you will never need to worry about Too Many Too Fast!

    Hope this helps!.........
    Regards,
    Rob

    No, not at all.

However, I suspect that your competitors in your chosen niche would prefer for you to get links very, very, slooowly. They might even tell your stories about the big bad Googlemonster to scare you into not getting links.

Did this before but no negative effect to the site linked to by my articles. Anyway, the google crawlers wouldn't index all articles at the same time. It will take different days for each article to be indexed..
