Google Pay Per Click Question

Hi Everyone,

I am a newbie to this forum but a long time advertiser (since 2004) with Google Adwords.

My question is this...

Do keywords that have impressions but no clicks use up the possibility of other keywords or that do get clicks from getting more impressions based on my budget?

I ask this because research has told me to have as many keywords that are relevant to my product and I don't want those non performing keywords to get in the way of my performing keywords from showing up.

Hope this makes sense and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Yes if you have a tiny budget then obviously Google is going to limit your ads' visibility.

Use a big enough budget. In most cases you won't reach the max (if you know how to use Adwords efficiently)

    • So it is best to ditch the keywords that are not performing so I get more impressions with the good ones?

I went into 123 domain, for a domainname .net had gone, .com had gone and .co.uk had also gone.

So for a predominately U.K. Market which one is it .org.uk, .net.uk, .com.uk?

    No not really.

Create a different ad group and test those keywords in that ad group with a different ad.

Are you using dynamic keyword insertion?

    • Ok that makes sense to test the keywords.

Do not know anything about the dynamic keyword insertion.

I am a much better programmer than marketer, this why I am here so I can learn.

Any links you can give to me about dynamic keyword insertion?

      Thanks...

  • Also I am in the process of writing up some questions regarding my "Indie" Affiliate Program.

What would be the best place to post my questions for this topic?

    Thanks so much...

This should make total sense to you if you are a programmer.... works great.. just make sure you are using landing pages that will match your keywords... other wise the quality score goes to hell in a hand basket..

      *+* = uxrxlxhxtxtxp://wxwxw.
replace the *+* above with the code above as I have not posted enough to allow posting of a url.
I love adwords, so if you are interested in one one one for free, contact me at Skype "jackrabbitsec" ... what you don't have Skype... its free and you should give it a try its fantastic.... better than msn or yahoo...
