Adwords Ad - DISAPPROVED - What is up with Google These Days?

Is it me, or is Google being OVERLY protective.

We were attempting our first Adwords campaign to test conversion results versus our current SEO.

Anyway, we build some nice banner images and work hard on nice ads and wait for Approval.

It took like one Business Day and then we find out our ads images were all Disapproved!

What?

We get an email that implies that they have 'editorial discretion' on stating if our image contains 'adult content'.

We submitted and 'exception request form' and are waiting on a response.

The image was nothing more than a silhouette of a man and woman facing each other in fron of a sunset.

Very romantic like the site we are promoting. Nothing vulgar at all.

I've attached a similar image. Let me know what you think and any advice on how to get around this. (not sure why the image came out so large..sorry)

Thanks

Protecting the quality and integrity of their product I suppose. Can't blame them really as adwords/sense are probably the most abused and scammed systems on the internet.

I guess the bad apples spoil it for the rest of us.

I was trying to fight them on it, but got no response.

So, this morning, I used their Display Ad Builder and just used one of their images. Hopefully, I can get the ads reveiwed quickly now.

May not be the image. Maybe the text you used on it.
