1. For SEO, Do I have to wait until my brand new site is indexed to start driving alot of traffic to it or building links, or are these the very things that will help get my site indexed? Or does having your site indexed first even matter?

2. Can I start driving traffic to a brand new site and building links to it right away immediately after I build it, or do I need to wait awhile?

b. If so, how long? And what is the absolute minimum amount of time I can wait before I drive traffic to a brand new site?

3. What is the maximum number of links I can build per day to a brand new site without getting sandboxed or slapped by google?

Thanks

Build your links straight away. They'll help you get indexed.

Yep, you can. Get to it straight away and be consistent with it.

If you're building your links manually then it's virtually impossible to build too many. So long as you're not building 10's of thousands every day you'll be okay.

Consistency is much more important than quantity in my experience. Take consistent action and you should have good results.

    Good luck!

I was going to respond with exactly the same answers as Pat. Good advice and the right answers to your questions.

Important note: if you are using automated software to build backlinks, you do want to take it slow for a bit. the automated links can look unnatural (too many too fast). my recommendation is to stick to manual linking for a while until your domain gets older.
