Ezine articles backlinking question

Can someone tell me what ezinearticles.com will allow when one *comments on articles*?
How has it worked for you?

So far, I have put my name in, but is it possible that they will accept a keyword and link that instead?

Or would they consider that spammy?

Can you put in a url back to your site?

Have any other suggestions for me?

Thanks.

Jeannie

From memory I dont think they allow any links there... and if they ever did, they'd certainly be cracking down on it now during this time of EZA refurbishment

EZA allows two links to your targeted sites, however, it doesn't allow affiliate links.. One of the ways to put your links is in your Bio Box coupled with a concise author's bio..

It depends. I wouldn't put any links in the body of the comment, unless it's a link to what EA's editors would see as great resource (ie. it better not be a squeeze page)

As for using your keyword instead of the "name" it depends on how you phrase it. "Make money online newbiew" might work, where as just "make money online" would likely be seen as spam.

How come? There are EZA approved articles which are speckled with links to squeeze pages like this one: EZA sample.

I appreciate the comments so far. There seems to be some confusion.

I am talking about commenting on other peoples articles. A lot of people don't realize you can do this. :-)

Has anyone used a keyword instead of their name?

    Thanks

Yes, I'd like to know that, too.
