Wasup people,

This is half rant /half question

Anyone getting insanely frustrated with Adwords??

I used to love adwords, i.e. speed of setting a campaign up and making lots of money on time sensitive offers...

however

these last few months its taken me anything from 7 days to 6 weeks! YES 6 WEEKS:confused: to get my ads reviewed and usually they just stick in pending review

now this is really frustrating when i have time sensitive offers or projects to market...

i am thinking of heading over to yahoo ppc (my brother suggested but i have been reluctant to )

anyone in the same boat...

not to mention i have over $300 stuck in google adwords

Yeah, it's frustrating but I haven't experienced 6 weeks. If you have a decent account history, phone google and ask them if they can speed things up. They are normally quite helpful.

Always try and avoid pausing a campaign as this seems to cause a review when you try and start them again. An alternative is to set your position preference to 1-3, but set your bids too low for them to show in that position.

If you wait 6 weeks, no wonder you are frustrated. Patient too.

I suggest that if your ads are still under review after 5 business days to send an email to Google. I don't think a phone call will help in this case. They prefer email. I've done this a few times and ad was reviewed and approved usually within 24 hours.

Yea, I have several campaigns that I redid Ads for about 4 days ago. They are "Pending Review", not "Under Review".

It usually only takes a few hours, tops, to get approved. I'm also only running the content network, so they won't be running on the content network until they are approved.

I was frustrated with adwords and hence I have stopped adwords altogether and now I am purely into SEO.
