Godaddy Hosting? - Godaddy & SEO Help

Warriors,

I have a question for those SEO elites. I have a Godaddy hosting account with multiple domains on it. From what I have seen, it looks as though only my master URL is getting ranked in the searched engines and not the other ones. If you know about godaddy all your URLS are under one domain and they branch off.

For example if I had the domain names www. testing.com and www. test123.com, I can write www. testing.com/test123 to go to www .test123.com

So is this hurting my SEO work? I have done the exact same SEO for all my other domains but only my master domain is ranking high in the SERPS. I'm starting to think this is the reason.

Any Ideas?

Thanks for the help, Happy Holidays!

Think that traffic to those sites may be less,
Just improve the standard of keywords..So that your problem will be solved...

Yes, you may focus on keywords however my suggestion is not to redirect your site to "www. testing.com/test123". Why not just type in the real website url..

Creating a 301 redirect from domain B to a sub domain on TLD A simply passes any PR from domain B to A.

With godaddy shared hosting, you also likely have 100 other domains on the same IP, hurting your SEO efforts. Spend the dough to get a private IP for each domain you want to rank.

The way godaddy manages your domains internally does not affect the outside exposure...as far SEO and domain management, the SE's see the same thing as other major hosts on shared hosting accounts.

I use godaddy for many of my domains (not quite all) and for the most part, I'm pretty happy. We run into challenges when doing some higher level stuff like recently adding the ioncube footer script to a WP blog on a shared hosting on GD. Got it though!

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, if you create a 301 redirect, does that hurt your SEO efforts? Well, you won't be able to rank the forwarded domain on it's own, it's forwarded and passes any link juice if tthere is any.

The only thing that matters is the content. If your site has good, original content, you will get google traffic whether it is set up as a sub domain or on a separate IP. I have experienced it myself.

I would not recommend godaddy hosting if you are hosting your domains there as well.

It is never a good idea to do web hosting and domain hosting with the same company. A good rule of thumb at least.
