Using same username on Bookmarking sites to bookmark your sites page...

I'm interested in manually bookmarking my new website's page in social bookmarking sites (most notably digg and stumbleupon).

Is it bad to use the same Digg username to digg (aka bookmark) each individual page of my website (10 pages)? Or do I need to create a new unique account for each of my submissions?

I wasn't sure if SE's are wise to multiple bookmarks from the same usernames, or if the social bookmarking sites were wise to it somehow.

Thanks for your help.

Im not sure if its a bad thing to do but Im sure it leaves some sort of footprint with Google. I tend to use different usernames with all my SB sites as well as Angela/Paul packets sites.

Its better to be safe and try and leave as littel as possible that can be tracked back to you.

Good luck with all your efforts.

I use one account but I know that other ppl use multiple accts w/ digg and SU - not sure if social BM sites really work that well though. Digg is probably the best you can get since it gets indexed in an hour or so.

I think it is not wise to use the same user name to bookmark your site too often. I think someone even suggested the same user name should be used to bookmark other people's sites every now and then to show good faith.

I would take the extra bit of effort and change it up a bit just incase. Bookmark some of them with one username and then move to the next!
