Hi all,

I have my wordpress blog set up and have checked the permalinks settings and have my post to custom settings to %category%/%postname%. In All in one, I have the post title settings as %post_title% | %blog_title% and the page title as %page_title% | %blog_title%.

Now I also use Onlywire and have my posts auto sent out. I notice on Twitter, the links all come up something like this: http://www.xxx.com/?p=28.

Is this right? I thought it was supposed to show the blog title and then the post title.. so something like www.xxx.com/how-to-train-dog

? Any help is appreciated :-)

This is how I do it:

%post_title% and the page title as %page_title% only.

This will give you the post title instead!

GO into your wordpress "permalinks" settings and set it to /%postname%/ that will sort the url's to be keyword laiden and you can choose to change them when you make your post.

The All-In-One-Seo settings look spot on.

      Good Luck.

I use default All in one seo settings and %postname% as permalinks.

Interesting. Most of the public information I've read on All-in-one says to use /%category%/%postname%/ for the permalink. Maybe I should drop the /%category%/.

Matt Cutts said in one of his blog posts/videos that /%postname%/ is recommended. Good Luck.

Also leave all other settings how they are.

If me, I just need to change the setting in permalink.

Okay, let's me tell you the flow to do it.

    First, go to permalink.
Then, check the last radio button and put this value --> /%postname%.html

    Then, click save changes button

    Tadaa, Finish.

So, the result is, your url will be like this:

    banned-commercial.co.cc/banned-commercials-nike-soccer-vs-ninjas-2.html

If your site is in a superniche that couldn't be divided into a smaller niche, and the keyword is already contained in the domain then use only /%postname%/
    Example: aceremachined72.com/cheapest-price/

If your site is larger or more generic (could be divided into smaller category) and the category is in the keyword, then use /%category%/%postname%/
    Example: bestlaptop.com/aceremachine/cheapest-price/

    Hope that helps.
