How would you use a PR3 expired domain?

Hi guys,

I came across a domain auction and have bought a five years old PR3 domain with some backlinks. My question would be:

1. Would you simply forward it permanently to one of your unrelated websites to boost it's PR and get some backlinks for it? Can this method harm my website? (and does it make sense to do such a thing?)
2. Would you rather create a simple, but well optimized html page for the domain and create relevant backlinks to your website?

If the domain gets no traffic an no additional backlinks, will it lose it's linkpower?

Thanks for your answer!

Dave

    1. Yes I might act that way.. and i have no indication that it harms your website.
    2. I will always preffer to create a simple HTML well SEO'd for my domains and create backlinks. but, this might change according to the IM tool you use (Adsense, Clickbank, etc..)
