18 day old site with no traffic gets PR5 (13 Dec registered - PR5 31 Dec)

Reckon it's possible to get your site to PR5 within 18 days of registering it?...

Proof: http://whois.domaintools.com/wordsell.com.au
Site registered: 13 Dec 09.

If you browse wordsell.com.au - you'll find homepage PR5, all other pages PR4.

Interesting ha. Mentioning to demonstrate it's possible.

Only thing we did was place wordsell URL ('dofollow') on one of our PR5 pages at the time which is now PR6. This was for 7 days between 18-25th Dec 09.

Furthermore, our PR5 page had 0 outbound links (or all 'nofollow'), other then wordsell.

Hence observationally, if you put your site's URL ('dofollow') on all 'nofollow' PR page, then your URL will get the same PR, minus 1. (EG: Place on PR6, you're PR5).

    Interesting. Would be good to test this a second time as once cannot determine with absolute certainty that this is the case.

    What date did the page go from pr5 to pr6? Did the new site go straight to pr5 or did it go 1,2,3,4 first?

    Also, you could try another experiment. Remove the link and see if there is any downward movement on the pr.

    Not sure what is so bizzare... You have a link from another PR6 site and google did a toolbar PR export today...
