>>>Adsense Stats vs Analytics Stats Discrepancy<<<

Can anyone help me out with this?

I have a small niche site with Adsense.

Everyday, my Adsense stats show a much larger number than my Analytics stats. Why?

For example, on yesterday, Adsense showed 40 Page Impressions.

I click the link to Google Analytics and it only shows 8 visits and only 9 Page Impressions.

This is an everyday thing for me. If the discrepancy was small, then I'd understand, but it is way off.

Does anyone have an explanation? I've searched the web with no real answers.

Thanks

perhaps you are placing the same ad code twice on the same page.. This doubles the adsense impression. Analytics also does not count robots; adsense does IMO. If you are to point your domain into "adsense for domains", you might get hundreds of impressions... Google is a complicated and conflicting thing..

It looks like the Time Zones are definitely off sync. Analytics is on EST, but Adsense is set to PST. To top it off, Google's help says there is currently no way to change the Time Zone settings in Adsense, they can be changed in Analytics. Wow.

This only partially explains things though because I could add up a week's worth of "page views" from Analytics and it still doesn't equal one day's worth of "page impressions" from Adsense.
