How do I get even Page Ranking distribution through Dir's/SubDir's???

Case in point, my home page kctrading.net recently went from PR0 to PR3 but I only had two directories go to PR1 and the rest have N/A or no page rank...all of my PR0 directories went to N/A, about 10 of them..not sure why as the cookware directory has quite a few anchor text backlinks. Now I've notice that a some sites that have a similar PR3 will have directories of PR2 and subdirectories of PR1 and so forth...I also noticed that these have internal links of there directory pages which shows up in my Firebox seobook PR tools I use...usually just a couple of links.

Here is a site that has a PR4 and seems to be doing everything right: cbkproducts.com Notice that this site has two anchorlinks to each directory and sub directory and a large amount for the homepage...and has the PR structure that I want on my site!

The question is what am I missing on internal linking my site...I thought each page was internally linked already? Guess not! Now I use Prestashop which is an ecart so it may be able to do this for me in the backoffice or I could do it manually?

I know PR is only a small part...but I want to at least do it right from Googles point of view! I am planning on still getting more anchor banklinks as well.

Also, I have found many older articles on the web on this subject, but I need current info on how to do it right the first time...just in case the rules have changed

Thanks for any help fellow Warrier's!

Maybe someone can post a url on a current article I could look over?

Anyone...wow no experts out there on this subject?

I did find this article and am still reading it. http://www.webworkshop.net/pagerank.html

Getting PR to filter down into your directories and sub directories will give them a bit of a boost...every little bit helps!

If you looked at my site you would of thought I had internal links as my homepage is listed in each of the other directories, etc...just need to figure out what Google is looking for...I am in the process of getting anchor text backlinks for each main directory.

UPDATE: I did find that I posted a robot.txt instead of a sitemap with google...DOH! I know that did not help...fixed. Maybe that will help!
