Main and Sub Page Indexing Question

Hello, I just have a question about main and sub page indexing. I use word press for a few adsense web sites, and I made about 15 posts on Saturday spread out throughout the day for different keywords I was targeting.
My question is what is the difference between google indexing my main page and all of the pages that actually contain the content?
When I search for the articles on google, I can come up with the keywords used in the titles--that is, those titles shown on the landing page of the web site, but not the actual article itself.
Is that clear what I am asking?
I was just wondering if they would eventually index the actual pages or if I have something to worry about.

Thank you,
Michael

I know what you mean. Let me see if i can clear things up if anyone is confused.

lilrut is asking if he should be worried about google indexing the root domain and not a post or sub page in regard to keywords. This happens because often with wordpress sites, the latest 3-7 posts are displayed on the homepage.

My answer is: No, you have nothing to be concerned about, eventually your posts will be indexed regardless of a partial match of content on your homepage in relation to post pages. If you really want a specific post page to rank for a certain keyword and not your homepage then you'll need to do some backlinking for that page.

Perfect Answer ... I agree with you. Go for some link building on the inner pages to get indexed. Moreover linking terms from your inner pages to your home page helps Google to index and rank them.

it is not necessary that google will fetch the same post where content reside its good that you can do linkbuilding to come up on the particular keyword but search engine also wants some on page factors to any post or website.
