So I was over at wordtracker using gtrends and found a keyword that shows to have around 13 searches per day or so wordtracker says and google shows only 4 competing websites for the term in quotes...

I am wondering if a profit could be made from this with so little searches per day but it will be interesting to see the results

Do you think money could be made

    No time at all

10 minutes to write a quick article on a product that fits perfect to the keyword, it answers the keyword so we shall see

It all depends on the term.

It could be hard to profit from the phrase "watch free movies online", where as the phrase "buy Panasonic TX-P42G10B 42-inch TV" might be easier!

The main thing is are there some adwords ads being shown on the right hand side when you put the keyword into Google? If so:

Quite frankly, in the time it took you to ask "Do you think money could be made" and replied to the person above you could have:

    • Already had a blogger blog set up with the title of the keyword.
    • A 150-250 word article around the keyword written and posted.
    • Your affiliate product picture/link, or adsense code, whatever way you were thinking you could monetize it posted to the blogger blog.

In the time it's going to take you to reply to this message you could have:

    • Dugg the blogger blog at digg.
    • One or two other social bookmarks done.
    • Maybe even the rss feed submitted to one or two rss aggregators.

Instead of asking a question like this, why not just do it and find out for yourself?

      Good job!

Now you have to promise you'll report your results.
