Re-started google Adwords after some months break - already p****d off

I had my ads paused for months, but yesterday i wanted to try something so i made a new campaign on content network, a simple text ad.

Its now over 24hrs ago since i made it, i have had zero impressions yet.

This is on content where i don't use keywords, and i have 250 targeted sites in there.

    This happened me. Then I went to my emails and did a search for "Google". what I found was quite disturbing.. "You have been banned".

    I am not banned. Even checked my email just in case i would have missed an email.
    Still no impression. I remember that text-ads *always* started right away, and i never had to wait for those. (As opposed to banner ads). And the ad is "approved" and active.

      Recently in my niche, Google stopped showing affiliate sites. They still show in Search though. Check to see if other affiliates are showing on the Content Network. If they aren't you have the answer, and if they are it's an issue with your site.

    I think all they want is driving people to search (higher bids) - thus making something like "demographics" marketing impossible. Eg. advertising weight loss products to sites "appealing to women over 30" <-- exactly what i want to test right now.

    Furthermore, no, i will NOT increase my bid....and if it wont show tomorrow i will simply continue my "boycott" and pause all my ads again as i did in the months before.

    This has just become a big joke IMHO.
