Backlink Booster - Help me maximize this tool

Hi everyone. I was reading through Terry Kyle's backlinking experiment and I think I learned a lot. I own backlink booster and have for almost a month now. I use it for every single backlink I make and I definitely see the benefit behind it.

However I am having a problem seeing its full potential like some of you in Terry Kyle's thread. I know that we create the web 2.0 profiles through ping.fm to add mass amounts of backlinks to our backlinks...but when doing a backlink search on some of my profile backlinks...there are no listed backlinks for my backlinks. So confusing I know.

I saw someone say that they backlink the **** out of their ping.fm web 2.0 profiles. Can anyone who has done this tell me how effective it has been? I will definitely do it if it is a potent way to make my backlinks backlinks more powerful. But right now I'm not seeing any of the potential of backlink booster because none of my backlinks backlinks are showing up in a backlink search.

Now I know that sean said that shortened urls will still show up as backlinks but absolutely none of my backlinks are showing backlinks of their own. Does anyone know why this might be happening? I boost every single one of my main sites backlinks and I have ping.fm to direct post to like 20 web 2.0 sites so every one of my main sites backlinks should be showing at least 20 backlinks of their own...right?

Anyway this has got to be a very confusing post I'm sure with the amount of times I used backlinks backlinks in it...but I'm sure some of you hardcore backlinkers can understand it and I would appreciate any help you could give me on the matter. I really want to realize the full potential of BBooster...but right now it just seems like the only thing my boosting is accomplishing is getting my profile backlinks indexed quickly.

Thanks to anyone who can understand this post and offer me a little bit of insight.

Well, there really are two types of benefits from using BB:

    (1) increasing the % of backlinks of yours that get indexed and that show up in the backlink searches. Hopefully, you have experienced this. I personally have noticed at least a 3x increase in indexing rate, if not higher. What's interesting for me is this.. Typically, if I put out profile backlinks, ping them, and do nothing else, If I run seo spyglass which pulls from lots of sources, maybe 70% of the links were showing up in yahoo site explorer, and 30% were not showing up there but were being pulled from sites like excite, altavista, etc. My backlink boosted sites though, maybe 95% of them show up through yahoo site explorer, so even the backlinks that are showing up in the searches seem to be getting more love through yahoo's backlink search. What sort of indexing rate are you getting now?

    (2) increasing the value of the backlinks. My experience is that these types of sites typically don't show up in the backlink searches, particular for links that fluctuate from page to page. That is, when you add more links, that particular link will move from page 1, to page 2, to page 3, etc. What I do to test how much my sites are spreading in google, is I use a standard username for each of my BB sites (not a standard name, ie., i'm the only one who uses it). So, when I type in that username into google, I can see all of the pages from these sites that Google has picked up and has indexed.

And yes, showing some additional love to your sites like twitter, youare, indenti, streetmavens, vox, livejournal, etc. will surely help. Also, why not create a twitterfeed to into another set of ping.fm sites for even more lovin'.

Alright...just the answer I wanted to here.

Yeah since getting backlink booster I'd say within 2 days usually any new backlink even those ones that I think would be hard for a spider to find are indexed and showing up in Google. I definitely see that benefit.

I just thought the whole goal for the ping.fm sites was to boost my backlinks with additional links...and because my profile backlinks aren't showing any links of their own, I wasn't sure how effective my boosting was.

I'm definitely going to boost up my web 2.0s now and I like the twitterfeed/another set of web 2.0s idea. I've been noticing a very slow yet steady decline in some of my search phrases that were originally number 1 and it has nothing to do with my backlinks because I haven't stopped backlinking since the first day they got there.

The only thing I can think is that my average time on site has gone down and this is causing the continuous drop in the SERPS. I'm going to work on adding some more stuff for visitors to do (i.e. videos, polls, etc. to bring my avg. time on site back up). I think this may help me get my ranking back....
