Is there any basic thumb rule or tips to publish the content with Squidoo?

I mean, that site won't allow me to publish my content because it think that my lens are too empty and far from complete.

I completely have no idea what else should I do with other module then the contents and few pictures about the niche.

So what other modules should I fill in for the sake of completion?

My basic rules of thumb for squidoo is this:

    1) Look for some search terms that are up and coming.
You can look at the most searched for terms on google
or yahoo, and see what has staying power. Or, just choose
    your niche.

    2)Make a decent opening paragraph.

3)Come up with about 3 to 4 subheadings. Fill each one
in a separate text module, add a picture to each one, there
are tons of free places to get photos or graphics with no
    royalties.

    4) Place an amazon module in-between each text module,
    with 2 -3 products.

5)If you have a niche, sprinkle your text links throughout, or
have a text module at the bottom with text links. be careful.
They only allow a couple to each domain.

6)Put an amazon search module or even a blog/news search
    module.

7)If it is a niche and you have a blog, you DO want to add the blog
module that pulls in your rss feed.

That's it. I don't mess with the fluff modules. I want content and
    keywords.

Here is an example of one of my highest rated lenses. It has dropped
    as the weather warmed up.
    Heated Electric Socks.

You can see that it is short and sweet.

It comes up as #2 on yahoo for heated electric socks.
A blog post about this lens comes up #10 on google.
My lens stats say that I have had 52 google search visits this week, but
I can't figure out the keyword combination.

Oh I should point out that once you have a few, ranked lenses, they are
more lenient on getting the next ones ranked. At least that's the way it
seems. I toss a lens up now, and it gets ranked right away. (Squidoo ranked,
that is). Partnering up with someone on squidoo puts two people together
to really take off. In other words, 2 people working and coming up with lenses.

Thanks for your detailed reply about the Squidoo and it is a good read.

I will try to follow and see what can I do with my lens tomorrow morning.

by the way, do you think it is recommended if I post other people videos from youtube on my lens? Will this a good move or just plain sucks?

and the reason why I venture into Squidoo is to create the lens is for backlink purpose of my site.

Do whatever you can to get links to your lens from squidoo itself. This includes joining groups and leaving comments on other relevant lens.

The more your lens is mentioned across squidoo the better you'll be.
