I am currently doing keyword research in the 'fix your computer' niche that I plan to build out as an authority site. I have been a Computer Tech/Network Engineer for over 10 years, so there is a lot that I can offer in this niche.

I have found a keyword phrase that gets good exact searches and a really good amount of Broad searches.

The average page rank of the top 10 results in Google for this keyword is 2. The 2 ezine articles are PR0. Also, the average backlinks of the top 10 results is less than 10.

The reason this keyword phrase is so attractive is the Google keyword tool shows about 30k broad searches a month.

Is there something I am missing within my research? Any tips of further analysis would be great. I plan to snag a domain name with the keyword phrase included in it and setup a WP Blog.

I am using Market Samurai.

It sounds like you have this well thought out, and well researched. And..most importantly, it sounds like you actually have something that you can offer as far as content and expertise to your visitors.

If everything is as you listed above...it sounds like you may have found a "Super-Niche" which is ideal....especially given that you have the expertise.

My only slight concern is that a lot of the searches for "Fix my computer" kinda stuff could be people seeking to find local businesses to provide computer service. Even so, get that traffic too! LOL

Do some basic extra steps once you have your blog set-up, such as some basic Article Marketing, a Squidoo Lens, a video walk-thru of your blog on tube mogul, and some forum and blog posts and it sounds like you could dominate this niche.

You may also want to consider giving something away for free, and getting an Opt-In list from the beginning, so that when you monetize your site, you are 50 yards ahead of not using an Opt-In.

    Hope this helps...

Thanks for the tips. If there is one thing I have learned from fellow warriors is that building a list is an absolute must. So I definitely plan to do so.
