I just watched the video. To be honest I watched most of it until the price tag popped up It is good though. My next thought was how to contact Gmail and ask them how target ads for specific emails.

You don't need to. There's a WSO up right now that explains how to do it.

I never watched "the video" so I don't know if it's exactly the same thing.

Be advised: I was sent an email from another warrior here who told me not to bother with that video/program. He claims all those promoting it are making more as affiliates selling the program than what they've made through google ads.

I would like to know if anyone has tried it successfully.

          Anyone?

I do plan to test it, though. Not much to loose, and I have a bunch of ideas to try out...

I know who that warrior is and always trust his judgement given his level of experience and success.

As for gmail ads - has anyone ever noticed or clicked on them? I for one haven't.

This is in no way against the product being sold - there may very well be some twists that work for some marketers.

Thanks for the share Sean. I saw a few other Youtube vids covering this topic and even more on how to run ad campaigns on the content network.

First I think the place of this thread is in the products review section, not here

Second, the name attached to this product is a well known, and trusted marketer,

Third, I have access to this information as a privilege for being a member in his membership site, and it''s an excellent information, I didn't use it because I have no interest in PPC, however, for those who do PPC, they will find great information inside it..

Finally, being heavily promoted by big marketers is nothing against the product, or recently it has been?

I'm sure they are selling a bunch. First the big guys marketing it had to be sold that its a viable product and worthy of selling. It has to have some real content. The author is no dummy and I'm sure he has some good twists on what is common information.

Most information is free anyway. It's the application, the stories, the insights and the experience that you pay for. I would pay for "How to Place Adwords Ads" stuff if it included testing data and ways to cut costs and time. Many have purchased that exact thing.

The thing to focus on besides the techniques in the product is the way it's marketed. Can you apply that to anything else? Can you come up with a unique angle on a common technique, create a product, and make bucks from it?

        And that's the truth!

Just because you know how to do something in theory does not mean you can actually do it.

If you had to have brain surgery....would you rather have a Surgeon with real life experience ...or some one who just got through theories of brain surgery!

        Who would you pay more?

That being said....If I had access to Ryan's product before I started farting around with gmail advertising... it I would have saved me a bunch of money....!

I was at the Prosper202 / MeetUp202 conference at the Affiliate Summit West last night and one of the guys on stage mentioned he was using this Gmail/PPC tactic and was going to give the information away for free. (He was apparently upset others were selling this secret he has been using).

He handed out his card with the free giveaway link on it:
Affiliate Summit West - Gmail PPC Secrets - Free Giveaway | Marketing Meet Ups (not an affiliate link)

There is an opt-in required there, but I think it is worth an email. I did talk to Ron about the method and I was impressed with the added targeting 'tricks' he mentioned.

I just thought I would share this with my closest friends (the Warriors) who were not at the event last night.

I first saw this with Russel Brunson $2k course, then I think Howie mentioned it in his $3k course, then Ryan & Perry had an entire module on it in their Traffic and conversions summit, I've also seen it in at least one WSO and it's splattered for free all over the net.

It's not rocket science and it does work but as with anything it requires a decent level of work to twist, split test, analysise, and find a winner.

A few of the more detailed versions contain some cute tricks on the unsubscribe link text and so forth but it's all pretty much identical throughout everybody's "secret version" that you read.

Don't know, as it wouldn't effect their gmail account rights.

Their Adwords account perhaps if they abused the advertising TOS.

Hey Sal....why would anyone's gmail accounts get shut down?

If anything it would be their adwords accounts....but as with anything if folks take the time to do the research and do things the right way then there should be no worries.

And for those who don't......their accounts should be shut down.
