Well just goes to show that the carefully crafted "do not do evil" is as we all thought all along, carefully crafted BS and hypocracy of the highest order.

Although it is funny, what is the issue?

Bing are not allowed by international competition laws to ban Google advertising unless there is a valid reason.
Google itself are having to face up to this fact after many European companies are filing lawsuits within Europe as they manipulating search results to penalise them, which is against many EU anti competition laws.

If it is such a big deal for Bing they should encourage more affiliates to drive Google's cpc up.

Google may be big, but I'm glad they did not forget the principle of going where the customer is. Internet Markerers often forget that principle.

Looks like Facebook has finally scared Google $hi#less and making them advertise any which they can to attract advertisers.

Screw Google. Go FB (at least until even FB becomes too big and too monopolistic)...

In terms of users/visitors....maybe. But I think in terms of advertisers G still has the upper hand.

I have no hard data to back it up though.

Can't prove it, but I get the impression that fewer ads show up on the right side.

that is odd - but not because it's on bing, but because they're trying to get affiliate marketers to advertise on adwords when LOADS of people (including myself) have had affiliate sites denied from buying adspace with AdWords. double-f**king-standards!
