Wht is more difficult to rank?

Its more difficult to rank a static website like a selling product website which has no great updates OR to rank a blog or wp site wtih daily updates which content is more dynamic and also have some selling porducts?? for the same keyword

    The question is not so much if it is a blog or not.
    The important thing is the updates.
    A site that is frequently updated will get more google love than one that never changes.

    There are multiple factors that affect how you rank, but aside from those, yes the frequency of updates is important. The more frequently you update, the higher the "cache rate" should be. A high cache rate is good for a site's ranking ability.
