BEST ON-PAGE OPTIMISATION TOOL

Hey guys

you know the drill, you,ve built a website with your keywords etc and now you want to rank, whats the best tool to check your progress and let you know if your not 100% correct

i have "traffic travis" but its playing up,
says i only got 178 - 202 words on 2 of my webpages and i can count over 500 for each
also its saying i have not got my main keywords in the title tags which i have

any ideas for a good tool

    could be ignoring words with one or two letters or generic stop-words. several diagnostic tools do this.

    as for page title tag... this is the text at the top of your browser, not text on your page. just to make sure you're looking in the right place.

    *edit* I just ran it on a site of mine that is PR 3 and sitting at #3 for what traffic travis considers a medium difficulty keyword and they only gave me a C+.

    These tools can be a useful to figure out some problems but aiming for a A+ or 100% shouldn't be a huge priority.

    http://websitegrader.com gave me a whopping 67% and said I don't have a blog, which is funny since it's a wordpress site.
