Anchor Text Research, I need help

I am in urgent need to do some anchor text research for the backlinks to my website. I have a website that ranks well for a company I represent and it isn't a good thing. I outsourced work to a lead generation company and it turns out that they ranked my website for the keywords specific to a company I represent. I need to find any backlinks that contain the company name and have them removed. I also would like to lose my ranking for those keywords. Is there a way to request to not rank in google for specific keywords without losing ranking all together? I appreciate the help!

Thanks,

Jayson L

    Hi Jayson,

The first thing you should do is remove any reference to the company you represent from any and all pages on your website that have been promoting. You can replace the company name with a generic industry or product type keyword.

Then contact the lead generation company you hired to promote your website and get the account credentials for every account they setup on your behalf. Login to each account and change your listings by replacing the company name with an appropriate keyword replacement. Optionally, you could probably hire the same firm to do this for you.

Once you have done all that I mentioned above, you can then have a script written to automatically detect and redirect traffic coming from links that use the problematic anchor text to the company's website that you represent. This will deal with any links you are not able to locate or update.

If the company you represent is already aware of the problem, you can report all of these things that you have done to resolve the issue. They will probably be happy to see that you are redirecting traffic to their website.

How would I have this script written. Can I have it written so that the 3 keywords would just be directed to the company? Who could I have do this and how much would the cost be?

i think all you can do is requst to NOT be indexed.

dont think you can request to not be indexed for specific words.

whichever pages are receiving the incoming bad words, just delete the page or redirect
