Building Links for 1 site is easy; what about HUNDREDS of sites?

Any suggestions on how to build links for hundreds of unrelated sites? I think building micro niche autoblogs in itself is a good idea, but promoting it seems impossible to me which makes the idea worthless.

Promoting my blogs is a lot easier because I can submit it to SU and Digg, etc, without people thinking it's spam because it has an entertainment value to it.

But a blog about Puppy Clothing will be marked as spam and it would only be a matter of time for my IP to be banned.

    I would recommend 1 of 2 things:

    Option 1 - If you have a bit of money to invest, outsource it. Frankly, it is boring, dry and dull. I believe there are a few WSO related outsourcing services on this forum. Or you could try Elance/odesk/all those crazy freelance sites.

    Option 2 - Drop the TV and XBox and start backlinking. In fact, drop everything non-essential and get to it. Schedule some breaks to do something enjoyable every hour or so, put on some music, and revel in the boredom.

    id always suggest to people to FOCUS on the sites that are making you money (or the most money) first.

    Do not waste time because no one will wait for you. Every link you build today will go a long way in the coming months.

    So, pick out some sites that are already making you money and make them even better...

    or outsource it
