Hey fellow marketers,

Ive just started my affiliate marketing business exactly 2 weeks ago. After reading so much about how only 10% of affiliate marketers earn a profit and only 2% make it full time i had my concerns. A lot of information can be misleading as after my first two days promoting just one product i managed to see a profit of over $600, my ad spend was less than $50! Not a bad start......

Two weeks later and after promoting a few more products i have reached sales of over $2000, however my ad spend is very close to the same mark now.

All of my training came from michael jones products the clickbank code and the affiliate code........ despite comments you may read on this forum i must say for any newbie out their there are no better products to buy.....in my opinion, anyway during part of the course i was informed that after you see a profit, to basically increase your add spend and expand to yahoo and msn. I tried doing this and lost about a grand.

Is it just my keywords, seo that kind of thing thats letting me down. Do I need to write more articles? - my ads quality scores average about 7. I'm realy stuck as to how to move on and increase my profit.

I have also heard on the net that google has upped the cpc for every customer and every key word, there must be other ways to promote my products. I just dont know...

I find myself staring at adwords for most of the day, adding and removing keywords, i tried to accelerate one of my campaigns - made $66.90 worth of sales but lost about three hundred.

Do i need to find higher convering products?..... I dont know guys - this is what i want to do, its what im passionate about. After three years of buying shocking products, getting involved in pyramid schemes and crazy surveys etc... I think i've found my place in affiliate marketing.

Any advice in relation to any of my questions would be greatly appreciated. Any tool sugestions, even honest people who can help me out with a decent sales page (mine sucks) key words, any thing. I'm more than willing to pay honest people who provide a good service.

A lot of questions, you can probably tell just by reading this how confused i am as to what to do next.

Thanks for taking the time to read

Regards

Matt Bruenjes

Hi matt in new like you so I won't be offering advice just yet, but you could not have picked a better place to ask for help, im sure the vets here will respond.

Im in the research phase myself (I like to soak up knowledge before I jump in) I started a test blogger page and am learning about SEO, PPC, etc. and am seeing my rookie mistakes now. I've yet to make a squeeze page, (did a test one last night on my comp) and am just learning about clickbank, backlinking, etc. I found a product or two on CB that appear to offer residual sales, I think ill go that route, but am still learning.

it heartens me to see you made 2k in 2 weeks. Im wondering if you can't get a cut of backend sales. But I just KNOW this IM niche affiliate thing can be done. Just hang in there, you're a bit ahead of me at the moment, and its good to see someone new off to a good start. And to think I found warrior forum by accident...

Well Matt, in many ways you post asking for further help shoots down the claim above. Anyway you write that you stare at blank walls in G adwords, and that would be true as the course you have probably only covers the basics.

It would be your best call now to invest into specific areas of learning, go over to the wso section and you will find some good offers on adwords advanced training. (there is simply to many things to learn in a small reply here)

Then when you have covered that ask specific detailed questions rather than a blanket over all question.

Then also learn more on article marketing as you go, In basic terms your flying the correct path just keep that tight focus and move along and as you journey deeper into the trip you will see the forest from the trees.
