Google AdSense account denied

Hi, I just tried applying for my Google AdSense account and it got denied.

To my knowledge, I should have at least have a decent 1000 words in my blog and regularly post entries in my blog.

However, though I have regularly posted entries (about 5 blog posts in a week) and about 5000 - 6000 words in all my 5 entries combined, my application was denied. All the content in my blog is original (i.e. nothing cut and pasted).

This was their reasoning:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Unacceptable site content:

In order to participate in Google AdSense, publishers' websites and
application information must satisfy the following guidelines:

*You must provide accurate personal information with your application that
matches the information on your site.
*Your website must contain substantial, original content.
*Your site must comply with Google AdSense program policies: (link)
which
include Google's webmaster quality guidelines: (link)

If your site satisfies the above criteria in the future, please resubmit
your application and we'll review it as soon as possible.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

The only reason I suspect why my application was denied was because I added an "s" to my blog address (so that I would get the plural form in my blog address) before applying.

Now that my application was denied, will it diminish my chances of getting an AdSense account in future?

Any comments?

Nah - you can probably get approved later. Is this a brand new blog? Though as far as I know google doesn't clarify it - Big G seems to be wary now of very new sites.

Keep adding content regularly and reapply in a few weeks.

Oh yeah it is new. I started it a couple of weeks back.

Hmmm ok I guess they are a little more picky now. Thanks for the advice.

So any ideas when would be a nice time to reapply again?

I didn't know it had been officially added to the TOS. I think that's good and will result in site owners who have put in effort and time on their site or blog and have more to lose if they violate terms and lose their accounts.

Is this new? I've had my account for nearly 4 years, and don't remember this. I was approved right away, but I guess I could have had my first blog for a while before I applied.

Another thing. I know there are some WSOs that promote using Adsense. I wonder if it's made clear to those newbies buying them that if they don't already have an established blog/site, getting Adsense just might not be such an easy thing.

Do you have all the necesary extra pages? Privacy policy and similar. Also, if you are in the MMO online niche you can not talk about adsense if you are having adsense.

Apply using a site that has been up 6 months. Once you are approved, you can use on any site.
You do need privacy policy AND disclaimers. If you have uncloaked affiliate links (or if they clicked cloaked ones) disclaimers must be in 'proximity to the link' not on a seperate disclaimer page, (In the FTC 'guidelines) though it has to there too. You also need an 'About' page and contact info on site.
I got mine using a not for profit site, I now use that account on several sites (some that were under 6 months old when 1st put there, in fact are probably still under 6 months old.). They haven't said 'Boo!'

I thought the 6 month site age was for sites from India and China. Has it been expanded to all areas now?

When I register domains I automatically include a whois privacy guard. Google likes to be able to verify that you own/control the domain you submit the application for. If your whois info is privacy protected you might consider turning it off for the short time Google is reviewing you application.

        Peace.

      I echo what tjcocker said.

I have always taught my buddies this and upto a couple of weeks ago, they have no problem getting approved for Adsense.

      1. Use Blogger.com
      2. Post articles from EzineArticles.com with proper credit, of course. Not necessary to have unique content.
      3. Do it on a daily basis.
      4. After 7-10 days, apply for Adsense account.

Re the 6 months period, since when they have it? I'm in Singapore and we don't have such problem with getting our accounts approved.

      HTH.

Just noticed the multiquote button, wonder if that lets me quote more postes in one?

Just wondering, how long ago when you tried this? Have you (or friends) ever got rejected using this?

I'm looking into getting an Adsense account and it seems the 6months rule only applies to certain countries.

The problem is they are strict now and if you get rejected like the OP, you'll have to wait a few weeks, if not months (lost time) to apply again. So you want to be sure.

based on some people's experience, Sometime You should wait your blog to be 6 months old with at least around 10 blogpost with original content. But sometime people can do that faster as well. It's all based on the google system. Not sure They're using machine or human

A little over a month ago I started a blog and made 5 or 6 posts ,about 500 words each, all original content, and was approved for adsense. The blog was less than 2 weeks old.The Blog was started on blogger. I also think google may track if you read the terms and all. I did a lot of clicking around before I actually applied.

I applied for my account a few years ago (via Blogger). They rejected it with no reason given.

I sent them back a polite email asking why it was rejected. My email stated that all the content was original (ie I actually wrote it). The blog was on fire extinguishers, an area where I had over 10 years of industry experience, and was not misleading or false. There was no commercial intent on the blog, it was purely informational.

Within 2 minutes of me sending the email to them I got the "Your account has been approved" response back from them, although the response was actually from a different person than the rejection email (maybe a supervisor?).

Anyway, sometimes you have to nag them. A pain in the butt, but there it is.

Now Google is very choosy while approving adsense accounts. It requires that your blog be at least 5 to 6 months old and with good content posted regularly.

But here is a simple way to get Your new own Google Adsense Account in just 2-3 days.

You don't even need to have a separate website or blog to get this done. All you got to do is to have an active profile at Indyarocks.com. You can get this done through Indyarocks earning campaign. Through this campaign you can get you Adsense verified by completing a few eligibility check conditions.

Firstly you need to create an account at Indyarocks , fill up your profile and go to Google Adsense link in the right sidebar. Here you will get the instructions on how you can create an Adsense account and then submit it for approval.

Normally it takes 2-3 days to get approved. You will also get an email from google after your account is approved. You can use this account on any of your sites. It's that simple.

      Try this.

Start a blogger blog and apply for the adsense account when setting it up.

      This use to work immediately.

Then you can use this account on any blog.

Hello Guys i need your help,

I applied for google adsense with a personal account 4 years ago and was denied cause my website was not up to thier standard. when i re applied i was still denied based on the same reason. my site was a duplicate sales site with lots of content. I tried using a blogger after that but was denied that my account had been denied before.

Now i have another new website. I also set up a company. I believe this website will meet terms. The problem now is whether to create a new account or re apply using the old account.

Its a big problem because this is just a start up company no address yet, so i'll need to use a friends address also i will have to edit my whois information and all that.

I dont know what to do, will i get approved if on my personal account as i'll really prefer to use that.
