noindex, nofollow for SEO in wordpress (Platinum SEO Plugin)

Hi warriors,
Anybody here ever try Platinum SEO Plugin for wordpress?
I read some reviews from the webmasters and they said this plugin is similar to the All In One SEO Pack upgrade version...
it has option like this for every page and post:
(index, follow) , (index, nofollow) , (noindex, follow) , (noindex, nofollow)
now i understand that noindex is we make serach engine not index that page/post right?
so what about nofollow?
when i start creating pages like contact, about etc...i don't know what option to choose...
i want to know if this is so important for SEO? some people said noindex for pages like about, contact, privacy policy, disclaimer n so on which are not related to the content f blog for SEO purpose...
is it true base on your experiences?
one more thing...
they have this option:
Use Categories for META keywords: Use noindex for Categories: Use noindex for Date based Archives: Use Tags for META keywords: Use noindex for Tag Archives:
people said that we can't index categories, archives and tag to avoid duplicate content or our posts...
is it important for SEO purpose coz i want to do as much as possible for my site...
i can ask this on their forum but i want to hear from expert marketers like this forum members base on your experience...
i feel that i'm worried enough about all of this...
