Angela's/Steve Aylor Lists. (Ping them?)

I have a couple hundred Steve Aylor Profile links done.

My question is whether i should ping all 200 since i am not certain the search engines would find the links otherwise.

I could put the excel list with the URLs in some HTML -> RSS and then submit/ping the RSS....but i am not sure whether i should do it or should i simply wait for Google to find those backlinks? I dont have the time to log in each of those profiles and comment using the profiles - but then i also dont want the links never be found by Google.

So make a list and ping them, how much time you can lose that in this?

With those type of links I combine the URLs into a single feed and submit the resulting RSS feed using RSS Bot (which also pings the RSS submissions)

I use a custom script to combine the urls that can do about 20 at a time. Yahoo pipes is probably your best bet: Learn How to Build a Pipe in Just a Few Minutes on Yahoo! Video

Mix and match. Ping some and combine others into RSS feed, then submit and ping that.

I use HTML to RSS Feed Creator and Aggregator, easily create rss feeds by Peter Drew to make a feed of all the url's, then I submit and ping with RSS Bot from Big Mike.

Fast, easy and efficient.

question is rather whether to do it slowly and NOT ping all 200 at once. Yep i found hostmyrss.com which is pretty good.

Mash all the urls into one rss feed by using html2rss.com (use "URLs 2 feeds" function) then post the feed to a few RSS aggregators. easy done!

I like to take it a step further by pinging, bookmarking, and blog commenting to each of the profile link pages. You have no idea how much power this gives the page and all the outgoing links.

I can do a couple hundred of these profile links and outrank some aged competitive sites because my links carry a lot of weight. And if you really want to secure that top spot, then do all the other stuff your competition is doing anyways (articles, directories, bookmarks, web 2.0, etc).

Interesting stuff Scott, I do wonder how throwing a couple of simply blog comment links at a profile would effect it.
