I received an email today showing me several pieces of search engine optimization software designed to generate traffic automatically
from high traffic sites like YouTube and Craigs List.My question is,What's makes something blackhat as opposed to whitehat or ok?

    If you had Matt Cutts from Google looking over your shoulder would he approve of everything you are doing? If not, it probably falls into a shady category.

    Doing white hat techniques such as submitting quality content, blogging daily, and spreading value would make anyone at Google proud and it turns out it also gets you sustainable speedy rankings. Go figure.
