SEO Software and SEO Tool users: Your likes and dislikes? What are your thoughts?

SEO Software and SEO tools has been around for quite a while now, and as can be seen in a recent thread - many SEO enthusiasts rely on SEO software to carry out their SEO.

SENuke, Brute force, EVO II, etc.

Many live by them for it saves them plenty of effort and time, while at the same time effectively leveraging their SEO efforts.

But definitely, the scene is far from perfect.

So calling all SEO Software users:

Share your ideas on SEO Software! What are the must haves? What are your likes and dislikes on SEO Software?

What makes you choose one software over the other? Is it the social proof alone? The pricing? Customer support? Features?

I would definitely love to see and read your contribution. At the same time, if we all contribute we can use this thread to note down everybody's favourite points about any SEO Software and what you would like to see in SEO Software tools that isn't available today.

Cheers
Jeff

  • How are you going to define SEO when Google is now cookie tracking and using GEO Targeting.

Do these tools have insights into the formulas Google is actually using to return results?

Most SEO Tools are pretty dead. They can only measure what they can figure out and until they have secret inside google information they are pretty much a bust.

Times are changing, SEO is taking on a whole new face. I certainly wouldn't invest in SEO Software at this point in time.

SEO tools are far from dead, they ease day to day seo tasks which will always be needed such as building backlinks - easing the workload from distributing your articles or videos - creating accounts - creating hubs, lenses and the many repetitive offsite optimisation tasks.

The user will need to know how to use the software in order to benefit from it.

Yes it would be great if there was such a software that had secret google inside information however no one does but google themselves - The best thing your going to get is the user knowing how to use the software and knowing how to promote their site.

Stay up to date with SEO - read the latest SEO news- make dummy sites and test them, Guys who practice SEO and who are successful at it are a clever bunch of guys -

If you ask me then SEO will always be around. Its webmasters that help search engines make relevant searches possible - If we didnt optimise our websites then search engine robots would have a much more difficult task in understanding what our sites are about thus bringing up non relevant results.

Those who practice SEO on their websites get rewarded by the search engines as they have made the site attractive to them.

SO as much as We need the search engines they also need us just as much.

    • Same here. I've never trusted them. I personally think you're better off "manually" doing your own SEO tasks but using tools of course to do those things (i.e. use an article submission tool for article marketing, a video submission tool for video distributions, etc. etc.).

These SEO tools that your referring to 'article submission tools - video distribution tools' are SEO software.

I have used many SEO tools and continue to do so with great success. The key is to know how to use them as if you dont then yes some tools can harm you.

I agree - Auto email verification will save loads of time - very important in my eyes.

I find that spinning articles takes up alot of time - but then if you was to have a auto spinner then i guess it would be hard to get a good quality article which will read well.

I think a scheduler would be good. Just set up scheduled tasks for the whole week for multiple accounts, that is if you have multiple websites to promote like I do.

If you only have one or two websites to promote then I can see why many would like to do the work manually -Its manageable! but if you need to promote plenty of sites then a good SEO software will be your best friend.

Since I started to use SEO software I have never looked back - it always pays for itself.

When it signs up for the accounts, it must be able to verify the accounts. I fear my kidlets are going to get sick of logging into gmail and clicking on the links for me

I use seo software to speed up the process. I even develop my own SEO tools. My tools (like others) can do the work in about 20 seconds what would take me 2 - 4 hours or maybe longer. Humans cannot process these tasks as fast as computers. Period! I'm not talking about black hat tactics, just analysis of whatever data you are needing analysing.

Internet marketing is based around computers, so why not maximise their potential?!

To those that had a bad taste or impression on SEO tools: Great! I would LOVE your views and experiences on WHY the SEO software left a bad taste in your mouth!

IMO, SEO Software, like any other software or in fact anything at all with computers and machines aim to do one thing: make your life easier somehow.

Yes, software can screw you up at times, like how you guys had your SEO software screw your SEO rankings up. That's what separates good and the bad software.

So to those that think badly or had a bad experience with SEO Software or SEO Tools, what are the reasons and experiences that made you hate them or not want to touch them?
