IYO, is this tool a valuable tool to purchase? I originally wanted to get MNF, but I am on a MAC and MNF is not compatible with MAC.
Thanks for your input!

It depends what you're looking to do.
If keyword research is part of the plan, then yes it is a very valuable tool to purchase. It'll save you a ton of time. If you want to know whether a keyword is worth pursuing, MS will give you pretty much all the info you need to know.
It also has many other features that i have barely used to I can't give a review about.

You still might need to do some additional manual research to confirm certain things, but overall I would recommend it. Do the free trial and see for yourself. It's 12 days.

PS: If you go into this forum: Internet Marketing Product Reviews & Ratings you'll be able to find a few threads dedicated to MS and MNF. There's lots of info in there.

I have Micro Niche Finder and Market Samurai. They are both great keyword research tools however Market Samurai is much more powerful. You can filter your results just like MNF, however you can also check all the needed information on the Top Ten Results for your keyword. You can view all the information of your competitors backlinks along with PR rank. There are ton more other features as well. I highly recommend it.

I've been using the keyword tool from MS and it is very good! Far easier than fussing with Google's tool.

Market Samurai is a great one in all tool that I live by when it comes to SEO. It does almost everything in terms of research. I use a bunch of other tools for actual work I need to get done, but if you're doing keyword/competition analysis Market Samurai is the way to go.

I use a Mac as well and Market Samurai works seamlessly into the OS for my Mac. It is well worth the money if you're serious about SEO. Good luck with it.

        • It does what is supposed to but it still a very newbie tool,

While the best of the breed for automated tools,

In my opinion they are great for doing a quick overview of market opp's

But once you have gone through what the tool is made for you really need to get your hands dirty and do some further manual evaluation.

There are great free tools that will help you really drill down and in my experience the most important is without question google insights.

          Regards

          Marc

Wow. Thanks! Those are raving reviews.....sounds like I can't go wrong with it. I used it a bit last night, and I have to say, it looks very useful! I found a few keywords that look kind of promising, but I haven't learned how to read the strength of competition matrix (with the pink, green, and yellow blocks).
I am hoping there is a training video on how to decide how much pink is too much and and in what blocks matter most.

        Market Samurai is absolutely awesome.

BTW, I think the competition module is the best part of MS, but I don't think you should rely to heavily on the color coding. Many people fall into a trap with keyword/niche software where they see a green light or something (e.g., micro niche finder), and they think something is an automatic go, or they see a red light and they think its a no-go. With experience you will understand what sort of numbers are good or not good (obviously it depends on how competitive of a niche you are going after, as you wouldn't be expecting easy numbers with harder niches). Now I can glance at and figure out if I want to approach the niche pretty quickly.

Worth trying it but I'd highly recommend to go for trial for 30 days, I'm not sure if they were still offering 30-day free trials, if they don't then ask them first, Thanks

Market Samurai is a really great tool lots of tricks I do like the keyword tool so much since it doesn't give very many long tailed keywords, but I am still learning how to do everything. I mostly have fun looking up backlinks and to see what the websites are ranking and if I think I can compete or not. Just the other day I was checking out the backlinks from a site. I looked up a domain name and it was cool it was a thank you page for a download product of there from clickbank that was worth $67 they had it linked to there site so I read the ebook for free and learned a few things. So you never know what cool things you might find using market samurai.
