I need an expert at Google Local. I need to get my business listed in the TOP 7 of google.

If you know what your doing then I need your advice and I'm will to pay for your knowledge. I need to know how to rank better than the rest.

        Yawn...are you talking Google Maps?

        Completely fill out profile and repeat the keywords you want to come up on at least 3 times in main and details section of profile. Add videos and as much content as possible. Send your link and try to get 10 to 20 reviews. Write several articles and blogs driving them to the keywords you you are trying to come up on Google search. That should work...

    Send a PM to McJabb (warrior user name). I've worked with him for a long time on his local marketing biz. He absolutely has all of chicago wrapped up on this stuff.

    To James (the previous poster), no offense but your advice for getting into google's local search is about 3-6 months outdated. Your advice would have been great back then but google has made some serious algorithm changes and google local search has now because a real 'game changer' for local business owners.

    6 months ago, I got about 7 of my clients on page 1 of google local search for their top keywords with my eyes closed. At that time, I thought I had the million dollar secret. Unfortunately all (yes all) my top rankings for those 7 clients dropped like a dumb bell within weeks after google changed their algorithm.

    I spent the next 3 months trying to figure out how to dominate google's local search so I can make my clients happy and so I could feel confident about my skills again.

    It hasn't been easy figuring out goolge's maps but I think I've got the winning recipe again.

    It's all you really need to get up there. I've done it several times and do it for lots of clients. It's really simple as long as you know that it's really about reviews and citations.

    I've found citations to be very important. I am working with a business that changed their name (and were not in the directory before) and it has been a real bear getting them in there.

    On the other hand, I've skyrocked well established sites to the top with little effort.
