My personal site dropped a point and several other sites I know of have dropped up to 2 points within the past month.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I have been on the lookout for changes from Google but haven't seen much on the boards.

THANKS

A week or more ago my toolbar PR was appearing and disappearing for a while. I had one site drop a point otherwise, I haven't see a big shift.

A couple of mine dropped a point but another couple finally came out of 0 after being slapped during the Big G Slap a few years ago. Yes...they stayed at 0 for about 2 years no matter how hard I tried to get them out - including submitting a reconsider request at g webmaster tools.

I manage nearly 20+ sites in terms of SEO if you count mine and my private clients. Out of the 20, about 12 increased in PR and 8 dropped in PR. Now I am referring to toolbar PR, NOT real PR.

The fact of the matter is I could careless because it did not effect my rankings at all. Just because the PR dropped a point or two, it doesn't mean your rankings dropped a position or two. The same goes for PR increasing.

I guess it just looks cool to link buyers when the toolbar has more green bars, which I get. But if you want to get traffic and make money, don't pay much attention to PR. It doesn't have much value, it's just a cool thing to look at in a toolbar.

      Caring to elaborate...

Because this month is only 4 days old.

Google does not raise or drop points every couple of days.

PR is updated 5 times (I think) per year.

You may be getting false results from the toolbar.
