adding articles that are not related to the blog topic, good or bad?

I want to add some articles into my blog that are not related to my main website topic but I just add them to drive traffics.

For example, say I have a mobile related website and I want to add some side-articles about immigration to US which is not related to mobiles but I add them because I know many peoples searching for this.

Is this trick okay with adsense tos?

    How about if we categories such kind of articles in groups with some appropriate titles and to be shown only inside the pages (i.e. not in the main index page)?

    Adding non-related article contents may get some traffic in the beginning, when some one searching something, your blog will come to the picture, once they opened your site, they will be irritated due to the topic they wanted to see was not there.

    More over it will increase the bounce rate of your blog, and gradually reduce your re visitors. So avoid to put " real estate articles in "photo shop tutorial blog" the name itself telling it is not relevant. the above is only example and not blaming you.

    personally I would go ahead and add the articles if you want to. I cannot see how they would really hurt that much. Content is content imho.
