Build Niche Site With 1000's New Posts a Day On Autopilot

I think I have an idea to build a seo friendly site that could have potentially 100's if not 1000's of new posts a day all automated.
In my niche there are several sites that take the posts of bloggers and publish them on their own sites as content. The bloggers agree to it for the exposure.
Take a look at seekingalpha.com for example.
Wordpress has plugins that will allow you to import rss feeds as posts and do it on autopilot.
If you did this with 100's of bloggers, getting their agreement of course which would be easy, you would have free limitless content.
What I'm wondering is just assume google spiders you site first and then later on the original content creator why would they keep your imported post in the search results and not theirs once they find theirs and see that it was created first?
If you publish conent on your blog site from someone elses blog site does google put both in the search results or just theirs (since there was actually written first, or do they like the one the spider finds first)?
I'm just wondering how does the search engines work with the big blog aggregator sites in my niche and can what they do be duplicated - if so you could do this to build a massive leading site in any niche that has people writing about it.
