Is commenting on high-PR but nofollow .edu blogs worth?

I spent couple of hours finding dofollow edu blogs but got a very small result... Almost 90% of edu blogs/sites are dofollow but most have high PRs (from 4 and above)

Is commenting on on these sites worth a try?

    Are the blogs related to your site ? If not whats the point in commenting ?, you may get a little PR juice but unrelated links run the risk of getting discounted from google and then are pretty useless.

    Stick to commenting on related sites to your niche and forget about whether they have PR or not.

    hmmm, it depends, if your links doesn't go into the system long enough to be counted as a backlink to your site, then it is worthless, also if you don't know how to find .edu blogs that are dofollow you might be spending too much time on matters that can eat a lot of your time.

    Nofollow has no worth in Google Search engine, If you find a dofollow blog then comment or no comment is upto you bu besure not to spam the post. If you spam then the moderator will delete your comment and also the time you spent writing 1 comment will waist.

    Nofollow has no worth in Google Search engine
    its always worth for google
    "NoFollow" used to stop passing the pr rank to outer websites but still worth in SEO and targeting Keywords

    I think it is still worth to comment on nofollow .edu blogs. What can i say is Link is a link so it still worth in SEO. Nofollow is used to stop passing Google PR juice to other sites.
