I wish you luck on this thread, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a response.

Not on a well-read, public forum, anyway.

Unless the forum were massive, it would quickly be ruined as people interested only in dumping links overwhelmed the legitimate content. Even a forum this size needs policing to keep the digital litter to a minimum.

You'll probably have to ferret out the ones that work for you the hard way - find a list and visit until you find the ones that work for you in your chosen niche.

One way to find them more easily, though, is to focus on the footprint. For instance, many Wordpress blogs leave the "powered by Wordpress" link in the footer. Search for that, and you'll find thousands of blogs. You can do the same thing for forums - try searching for [your keyword] +"powered by vBulletin" to find forums that contain your keyword. Repeat for additional keywords and footprints...

The upside is that you'll find places you can put your links that are not overrun by other marketers and link spammers. (I deliberately used both phrases to differentiate the two.)

also one more way you can find large lists of sites like that is just do a search for squidoo like sites, or hub like sites. And you will find some lists to check out.

    Hope this helps

With link wheels, you dont just want to focus on blogs and forums etc. Throw articles into the mix. If you add them further down the linking line the link juice should push them right up in the SERPS which in turn will pass on valuable links to your site. It's all about funnelling juice and relevance towards your site.

Use The search function on the top right-hand side of the page. Type in "best web 2.0 properties for linkwheels" and voila!

This subject has been flogged to death on this forum, however, i have come across a number of threads that provide 10, 20 and even 50 of the best web 2.0 properties to use! You will no doubt find these in the SEO section of the forum!

    Cheers
